Mission Statement

The library media center is integrated into the educational program at BLMS, strengthening the teaching/learning process so that students can develop Information Literacy skills. It also supports reading for personal enjoyment by providing a wide variety of fiction and nonfiction books to appeal to all tastes and reading abilities.

                                STUDENT RULES

1. Students may check out 2 books for 2 weeks.
2. Magazines may not be checked out of the LMC.
3. A pass is required at all times to come to the LMC.
4. You must have a purpose for coming to the LMC.
5. If you have an overdue book, you do not have library privileges until the book is returned or paid for.
6. Use of the Internet is for educational purposes only.
7. Students must have a signed Internet permission form on file in the office to use the Internet.
8. Students may not have gum or food in the LMC.
9. Students are expected to conduct themselves in a polite, courteous manner and respect the right of other students to work or read in a quiet environment.
